I built the Wall to a natural setting with my father, a retired carpenter. I photographed him standing against it. Little by little the Wall that first emphasized the role of the human character, turned to an independent artifact.

I continued to construct and explore the Wall in the natural surroundings. Eventually, The Wall became a personal burden as I sought suitable places for it.
